Czech Republic is a mainland country in the centre of Europe. They are apart of the EU and are on the cultural list UNESCO with 12 locations. Even though this is one of the smaller countries in Europe, it has a lot of historical, natural and technical sights. The Czech Republic is known for its castles, spa resorts and their worldwide known beers. The biggest tourist attraction is the capital city of Prague with its Prague castle and Charles bridge. Other tourist attracted cities are Karlové Vary (Carlsbad), Český Krumlov, Kutná Hora and Brno. The area of Jížní Moravy (South Moravia) is well known for its wine and cycling paths.

Slovakia is a country in the centre of Europe that is apart of the EU. Slovakia is mostly known for its mountain ranges, Tatry and Fatry, spa resorts castles, churches and its capital city Bratislava. 8 locations are in the cultural list of UNESCO. A place that is worth a visit is the Orava Castle, which is the most visited castle in Slovakia. Valid mentions are Banská Štiavnica, Dobšina Ice Cave, Articular church Kežmarok and Levoča with its famous altar of master Pavel. Tartalandia, the biggest waterpark in Slovakia, is an ideal place for families and children .

Austria is a mainland country in the centre of Europe. Around 60% of the whole country is made by mountain ranges such as Alpy and Little Carpathians. Alps, together with Vienna and Salzburg, are the biggest tourist attractions of the country. Austria also has deep music traditions, with music composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johan Strauss and Franz Schubert. Hungary

Hungary is mostly known for its wine, spas and good food. This mainland country in the centre of Europe is apart of the EU since 2004. Tourist usually visit the capital city Budapest and Lake Balaton. Some famous spa resorts in Hungary are Eger, Hevíz, Sopron, Siofok and Miskolc-Tapolca. A common ingredient in Hungarian cooking is paprika and salt. In the traditional food of Hungary we can conclude the Hungarian sausage, Debrecen ham, mixed pickled vegetables, Goulash or Langos. Well know wine regions in Hungary are Eger and Tokaj. :)

Germany is apart of the group G8 (most developed countries in the world) and has 33 locations listed in the cultural list UNESCO. German towns are quite different from each other despite them being in the same country. Metropolis, shopping plazas, architectural gems and towns with rich night lives. Capital city of Germany is Berlin with a population of 3,7 million people. Germany has some of the most famous brands tied to them such as Mercedes, BMW and Volkswagen.  Each year the cultural event Oktoberfest, which is the biggest beer festival, brings in tourist all across the world. Some more tourist-loved places are Neuschwanstein Castle, Europa-Park and Kolín Cathedral.

Poland

Poland is a country in the centre of Europe, that has access to the Baltic sea in the south. The capital city is Warsaw, but until the modern ages it was Krakow. In Poland it's worth visiting natural beauty's such as The Masurian landscape with three thousand lakes, the Tatra mountains and the Bieszczady mountains. Some cities that are also worth mentioning are Częstochowa and the Jasna Góra Monastery, Gdansk with the resort town Sopot and Wroclaw, which has its old plaza is connected with hundreds of bridges. The Białowieża Forest the remaining of the Virgin Forest and also the home of European bison, that live there freely.
